Flores Tags Cyclones for 5 Hits Sunday, August 25th , 2041 Juan Flores of the Hudson Valley Renegades outhit everybody on the field today at KeySpan Park, but it was all for naught. Even as Flores personally tore up the Brooklyn Cyclones with a 5-for-5 day, the Cyclones were sending his Renegades down to a 16-14 defeat. Juan Flores singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th and walked in the 10th. Thus far this season Flores is hitting .263 with 10 home runs, 54 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 353 at-bats and has played in 111 games. View Boxscore View Game Log |
