Copeland Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Asheville Friday, August 30th , 2041 Pete Copeland of the Hudson Valley Renegades was masterful today, pitching a 1-hit shutout, 7-0, against the Asheville Tourists. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Hudson Valley manager . "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Copeland had 4 strikeouts and 5 walks in the outing.
