Bowling Green Beats Hickory 3-1, Brodbeck Ks 15 Monday, September 9th , 2041 Bowling Green Hot Rods starter Toby Brodbeck brought his best stuff to Bowling Green Ballpark today against the Hickory Crawdads, striking out 15 batters in his club's 3-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 24-year-old Brodbeck gave up 3 hits in his 8 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my forkball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
