Hot Rods Win Round 1 Friday, September 27th , 2041 After their 5-3 win today at Ripken Stadium over the Aberdeen Ironbirds, the Bowling Green Hot Rods will advance to the Round 2. Bowling Green won the series by a 4-3 margin. Leading the way for the Hot Rods was right fielder B.J. Bushel, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Bowling Green Hot Rods will play against the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the next round.
