Greensboro Triumphs in Round 2 Sunday, October 6th , 2041 The cheering could be heard all over Greensboro as the Grasshoppers secured the final out of a 7-4 win over the Bowling Green Hot Rods to capture the 2041 High-A East Round 2 4-2. It was the 3rd time in the team's history to win it. "The Hot Rods are a good ballclub," said winning skipper . "We had to play at our best to beat them." During the season, the new champs compiled a 97-43 record in the South Division and finished in third place in the standings.
