Williamsport's Mora Will Miss Season Thursday, August 4th, 2033 Julián Mora of the Crosscutters just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Williamsport reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Norwich Sea Unicorns recently at Bowman Field. Mora suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Crosscutters medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. Over the season, Mora has made 11 relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 29 batters in 21 innings, yielded 14 walks and has a 3.43 ERA. Mora's record this year is 1-0. |
