Eugene Loses Jeff Quick for Season Sunday, May 11th , 2042 Jeff Quick will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Eugene left fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Quick was injured while running the bases in the Emeralds-Indians clash at PK Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn posterior cruciate ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months. Posting a .281 batting average to date, Quick has 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
