A+ West Player of the Week Goes to Acevedo of Vancouver Monday, May 12th , 2042 It was an extraordinary week for Juan Acevedo of the Vancouver Canadians. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .455, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the High-A West. Last week Acevedo went 10-for-22, racked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Vancouver shortstop. This year Acevedo is hitting .514 with 1 home run. |
