AquaSox Stop Harrison at 20 Monday, June 3rd , 2041 It just wasn't Ben Harrison's day. The Eugene Emeralds took the 10-5 win today over the Everett AquaSox, but the AquaSox mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 20-game hitting streak of Emeralds second baseman Ben Harrison. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Harrison," Everett manager commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Emeralds have other hitters and they did their job today." This year Harrison is hitting .308, produced 18 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 33 times and gotten on base at a .390 rate. |
