No Late-Season Magic Coming: Johnson City Out of Playoffs Monday, August 29th, 2033 The Johnson City Cardinals season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Johnson City has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," reliever Charlie Denton said wistfully.
