Curry Pounds 3 HR Tuesday, May 13th , 2042 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Kevin Curry discovered that today at Swashbucklers Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 27-6 ACL Tampa Bay Rays win over the ACL St. Louis Cardinals. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the ACL Tampa Bay center fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Curry finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs. Kevin Curry hit a solo-shot off Chris Belcher in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Graham in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Caleb Jackson in the 7th, walked in the 9th and walked in a run in the 9th. So far this year Curry is batting .328 with 14 home runs, 28 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
