Phillies End Pak's Streak Friday, May 30th , 2042 The ACL Philadelphia Phillies did something to Yeong-min Pak no team had done for the last 21 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Giants, who came away with the 5-1 victory at Field of the Tigercats. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 24-year-old right fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." Pak's current batting average stands at .326 and he has chalked up 8 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
