Ross Homers 3 Times Against FCL New York (A)

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Reds-Yankees game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
FCL Cincinnati third baseman Ron Ross thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the FCL Cincinnati to a 14-12 win over FCL New York (A).
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Ross said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Ross was 3-for-3 on the day with 5 runs batted in.
Ron Ross walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mauro RodrÃguez in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
This season Ross is hitting at a .309 pace with 11 home runs, 31 RBIs and has scored 17 times.
