Schultz on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Sunday, May 25th , 2042 It was a special day for Spike Schultz at Ballpark of Worcester today. Not only did Schultz's FCL Atlanta Braves beat the FCL Texas Rangers 12-1, but the second baseman hit for the cycle along the way. The 23-year-old Schultz racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 8 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Rangers manager . "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Schultz said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Spike Schultz hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th, hit a three-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
