Cardinals Howard Stops Cubs Wednesday, August 14th , 2041 Billy Howard really had his stuff working at Roger Dean Stadium today. The FCL St. Louis Cardinals hurler mystified the FCL Chicago (N) Cubs and shut them out 9-0. Howard allowed a total of 3 hits in the ballgame and struck out 18. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Howard said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." So far this year Howard has compiled a 6-4 record with a 3.58 ERA.
