20-Game Hitting Streak for Polanco Tuesday, June 28th, 2033 Dwayne Polanco's hitting streak is becoming the talk of GCL Lakeland (DET1). The 23-year-old center fielder extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the GCL North Port (ATL) Braves. The Tigers East took the game, 13-8. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Dwayne Polanco walked in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. |
