In an unforgettable performance, the 23-year-old Ramírez fanned 17 Braves and sparked the FCL Mexico City Padres to a 22-1 victory over FCL Atlanta. He left Braves hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said FCL Mexico City manager . "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 17 strikeouts over 8.2 innings, Ramírez allowed 1 hit and 3 walks in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Ramírez said with a smile.
