Guera Hits in 38 Consecutive Games Tuesday, August 23rd, 2033 Màximo Guera has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Great Falls Voyagers first baseman extended his streak today to 38 games, going 1-for-4 as Great Falls got the best of the Ogden Raptors at Lindquist Field, 9-4. "Màximo has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Voyagers manager said. Màximo Guera grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Currently Guera has 2 home runs and a .423 batting average. |
