McDonald Hurls No-Hitter Monday, May 12th , 2042 Eric McDonald was just plain nasty on the mound today, overpowering the DSL Jacksonville Bombers in a complete game no-hitter. The right-hander used his signature cutter to perfection as the DSL Mexico City Padres waltzed to a 8-0 win. "He was what the kids call 'filthy,'" losing manager said later. In a dominant performance, McDonald faced 28 batters in all and finished the game with 24 strikeouts and 2 walks. "After the first couple of innings, I knew I had some good stuff going," McDonald said. "In the bullpen, it really wasn't that good, to be honest.
