League Takes Action, Estrada Suspended Thursday, May 22nd , 2042 DSL Mexico City Padres shortstop José Estrada was suspended 4 games by the league commissioner today, a day after arguing his ejection during a game against the DSL Chicago (N) Cubs. "I think the 4 games are a little harsh," Estrada said. He was ejected by plate umpire for arguing balls and strikes. After his ejection, Estrada went into the dugout, then came back on the field, argued with the umpire and had to be restrained by coaches and teammates. The suspension was issued for "unbecoming conduct and returning to the field of play after being dismissed." |
