Bello Rips 3 Homers Against Guardians Monday, August 2nd , 2038 DSL Baltimore left fielder Edgardo Bello blasted three homers today at Baseball City Complex in the 7-3 Orioles victory over the DSL Cleveland Guardians. For the game, Edgardo Bello scored 3 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Bello when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Bello told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Edgardo Bello hit a solo-shot off Jesús Ortíz in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Juan Marino in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Juan Marino in the 8th. Bello currently has a .220 batting average with 67 hits, 28 homers, 62 RBIs, 63 runs scored and a .387 OBP. |
