League KO's Brewers 1-Tigers 2 Players with 5-Game Suspensions Monday, June 27th, 2033 At a recent Brewers 1-Tigers 2 contest at Milwaukee Brewers Complex, Billy Landry of San Pedro de Macoris (MIL1) took exception to what Cristóbal Buenteo of DSL Northeast (DET2) said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 5 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." Landry is currently batting .261 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. |
