Dave Méndez Injured, Out for Season Saturday, July 9th, 2033 When Dave Méndez was hurt against the Baseball City (ARI1) Diamondbacks 1, the San Pedro de Macoris (CHN2) Cubs 2 were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 23-year-old reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Méndez would miss 10-11 months of the season. |
