Lane Sticks it to DRL Pitchers Monday, July 25th, 2033 According to the voters, Thad Lane of the San Pedro de Macoris (NYN2) Mets 2 had the best week of all Dominican Rookie League hitters as he was named this week's Player of the Week. The second baseman's accomplishments include 12 hits in 24 at-bats, a .500 batting average, 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year Lane is hitting .391, produced 25 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 15 times and gotten on base at a .561 rate. |
