Bojórquez Week's Best Player Monday, August 27th, 2029 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Venezuelan Summer League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Adrián Bojórquez for his great week at the plate. The Detroit (VSL) catcher took home the trophy by banging out 10 hits in 25 at-bats for a .400 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 5 times. Thus far this season Bojórquez is hitting .271 with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 118 at-bats and has played in 37 games. |
