Costa and Sánchez Brawl, League Suspends Them Tuesday, June 27th, 2028 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Atlanta-Colorado contest at Turner Field. The Braves José Costa and the Rockies Aurelio Sánchez will have to sit out 3 and 7 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this year Costa is hitting .316 with 16 home runs. Sánchez has made 9 starts so far this year and put up a 3-1 won-lost record with a 5.12 ERA. In 58 innings he has allowed 71 hits, walked 21 and struck out 40. |
