Sunday, July 26th, 2026
Rafael Devers of the Chicago (N) Cubs and Tony Domínguez of the St. Louis Cardinals will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Cubs-Cardinals game at Wrigley Field.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Devers and Domínguez will begin serving them soon.

In 78 games Devers is hitting .217 this season with 55 hits, 8 home runs, 22 RBIs, 33 walks, .322 OBP and has scored 30 runs.

On his stats sheet this season Domínguez shows a 6-7 record, 18 starts, 117.2 innings, 79 strikeouts and a 4.44 ERA.
