Kansas City-Chicago (A) Brawl, Gillette and Zaragoza Suspended Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 Joe Gillette of Kansas City and Jesús Zaragoza of Chicago (A) were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Gillette will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Zaragoza was given 2 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Presently Gillette is batting .247 with 43 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 24 runs and scored 27 times. This season Zaragoza has notched 19 saves. In 44 relief appearances, he has 58 strikeouts in 49 innings with a 3.49 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 7-4. |
