7-Game Suspensions for Bailey-Young Fight Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 Baseball officials have notified the Padres and Orioles organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's San Diego-Baltimore contest at PETCO Park. Greg Bailey of the Padres and Brendan Young of the Orioles will have to sit out 7 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. Currently Bailey is batting .198 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and 37 runs scored. In 53 relief appearances this season, Young has 3 saves. He has 1 win and 2 losses, 2.66 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 50.2 innings. |
