Orioles SP Gonzáles Tosses Masterpiece Thursday, September 19th, 2024 Ernesto Gonzáles of the Baltimore Orioles humiliated the Toronto Blue Jays at Oriole Park at Camden Yards today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 2 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Toronto manager Lincoln Caissie, after the game. Gonzáles whiffed 10 and walked 2 in the 4-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Gonzáles said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." Up to now Gonzáles has recorded a record of 5-8.
