More Injury Problems For Detroit's Mookie Betts Sunday, October 27th, 2024 After being examined by team doctors yesterday, Tigers third baseman Mookie Betts was told that his rehabilitation time would be increased to 4 weeks because he still had some pain and soreness. The medical staff did not want to activate him until he is totally healthy. Betts is recovering from torn ankle ligaments. Betts is hitting .275 so far this season with 22 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 52 hits including 3 home runs, 26 walks and .364 OBP. |
