NL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Thursday, October 1st, 2026 Youngster José Trejo emerged as the latest National League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from St. Louis deserved the honor, batting .333 with 8 home runs and 26 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Trejo enjoy the limelight. This year Trejo has hit at a .299 clip with 196 hits, 48 home runs, 139 RBIs and 92 runs scored. |
