Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Chicago (A) Prevails Saturday, October 10th, 2026 With a narrow 2-1 series win, the Chicago (A) White Sox have eliminated the Minnesota Twins and are Wildcard Series winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Division Series, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said left fielder Billy Jackson, who was named series MVP. Chicago (A) won the final game by a score of 11-3, wrapping it up at Target Field. Jackson's big series saw him hit .417 with a .417 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Chicago (A) White Sox will play against the Tampa Bay Rays in the next round. Tampa Bay had a bye in the Wildcard Series.
