Chicago (A) White Sox Ship Powers to Seattle Friday, November 13th, 2026 After prolonged negotiations Chicago (A) agreed to ship 19-year-old minor league SS Dave Huerta, 22-year-old minor league SS Phil Schmidt, 22-year-old minor league RF Norberto Guillén, 27-year-old minor league C Jim Connolly and 22-year-old minor league C Tim Powers to Seattle for 28-year-old C Cy Carlson and 24-year-old minor league SS Gautier Murri. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." Looking at his all-time stats, Carlson has a career .228 average with 160 hits, 32 doubles, 2 triples, 20 home runs and 79 RBIs to date. He has scored 76 runs, walked 56 times and stolen 0 bases. |
