Cleveland-Atlanta Deal Confirmed Saturday, December 26th, 2026 Trade winds have been blowing through Cleveland. This time, a deal has materialized between the Indians and Braves. According to sources inside the organization, Cleveland will ship 24-year-old RF Ed Peterson to Atlanta for 25-year-old minor league RHP Sergio Garza and 21-year-old minor league RF Mauro Martínez. Career-to-date Peterson is hitting .239 with a total of 17 home runs. Since he came into the league, Garza has made 23 appearances, putting up a 5-5 record with no saves. In 110.2 innings he has struck out 56 batters, issued 41 free passes and held other teams to a .285 average. |
