Freeman Raps 300th Roundtripper
Friday, May 9th, 2025
The crowd roared -- they knew they were seeing history -- and Freddie Freeman was delighted, too. The 35-year-old Royals first baseman was making history with his 300th career homer. The crowd buzzed and roared again when Freeman stuck his head out of the dugout for a curtain call.
"Never, as a kid, did I ever think I'd hit even one," he told BNN after hitting No. 300 in a 6-3 victory over Cleveland. Freeman went 3-for-4 in the game, had 4 RBI, and scored 2 runs.
Over his career Freeman is batting .289 with 355 doubles, 13 triples, 300 home runs, 1049 RBIs and scored 941 runs in 1619 games.
