5-for-5 Day for Bryant Friday, May 12th, 2023 It was a high-five day for Kris Bryant, at least for a while. The Washington first baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the San Francisco Giants, but they were in short supply at the end, as San Francisco took a 6-4 win. Bryant finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Nationals couldn't hold off the Giants. "Kris was hitting everything," said Nationals manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Kris Bryant singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
