Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Brown Wednesday, May 26th, 2027 Leroy Brown's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Los Angeles (N). The 29-year-old third baseman extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 31 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Dodgers took the game, 4-3. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Leroy Brown flied out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Blanca in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
