Dudley and Jones Brawl, League Suspends Them Friday, August 10th, 2029 Doug Dudley of Pittsburgh and Doug Jones of Philadelphia were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Dudley will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Jones was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. For the season Dudley is hitting .278, batted in 70 runs with 27 home runs and 58 runs scored. This year Jones has fashioned a 5-8 mark, 4.88 ERA and pitched 110.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .256 against him and he has logged 70 strikeouts. |
