Boston Takes Division Series in Deciding Game Tuesday, October 12th, 2027 The Boston Red Sox are off to the League Champioship Series after an exciting Division Series triumph. Boston downed the Minnesota Twins, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-0 win tonight at Fenway Park wrapping up the series 3-2. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Dan Wade, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Wade put up a .316 with a .409 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 5 runs himself. The Boston Red Sox don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland Athletics - New York (A) Yankees series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
