Costa Clips Athletics for Cycle Thursday, October 28th, 2027 Braves third baseman José Costa made big news today in Atlanta's 10-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Costa said later. José Costa hit a two-run home run off Chris Mills in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
