The Math Says - New Haven Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 1st , 2039 Robert Morgan said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the New Haven Sun after they missed the Tri-State League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Sun last missed the playoffs in 2037. In the 45 years they have been a Tri-State League franchise, they have made the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Sun have missed the playoffs 6 times. New Haven has won the Round 2 4 times in their history. |
