Chelsea rode a fine outing from starter Young-tae Kim to victory over the Everton at Stamford Bridge. The final score was 4-2. Alberto De La Torre recorded the save for Chelsea, his 3rd of the season.

The Chelsea got a big at-bat from catcher Penn Wepper. For the game, Wepper went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead.
