|
Manchester United right fielder Douglas Aylward put his stamp on his team's 4-2 win over the Aston Villa. Aylward was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Manchester United in the contest. Manchester United reliever Miguel Velasco picked up the win, upping his record to 10-9. Jesús Gutiérrez was saddled with the loss. Brenden Shorland earned the save for Manchester United, his 4th of the year.
