Wagner Delivers Walk-Off Win for Royals
|
Texas wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Dylan Bundy, losing to Kansas City, 2-1, at Kauffman Stadium. Zach Haake, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Royals go to 13-20 with the win.
Logan Wagner was the walk-off hero for Kansas City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Royals shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Wagner said.
