Royals on to World Series
It's not often a losing player is named MVP of a series, but that's the situation Jarred Kelenic found himself in tonight, as the Kansas City Royals beat his Seattle Mariners to advance to the World Series.

Kansas City won the final game by a score of 5-4 at Kauffman Stadium and took the series 4-2.

Despite his strong performance, Kelenic was not taking many positives away from the series.

"I'm glad I played well, sure, but what good does it do us now?"

The Kansas City Royals will play against the Chicago Cubs in the next round. Chicago won their series against the San Diego Padres 4 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 19th , 2025.
