Blue Jays Take Down Rays, 6-5
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Tampa Bay Rays by the score of 6-5, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Seiya Suzuki. Suzuki went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Blue Jays. Jesus Dagnino closed it out for his 26th save. Toronto, at 65-77, occupies 4th place in the American League East Division.

Toronto used the clutch hitting of Cristian Pache to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It feels good to get this one," Suzuki told the Toronto Chronicle.
