The St. Louis Cardinals got a superb performance from third baseman Ghanim Rwabugini, but the Cleveland Guardians still won the game, 5-4. Rwabugini was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Mike Weimer nailed down his 28th save. The Guardians are now 69-86, while the Cardinals fall to 72-82.

Cleveland used the timely hitting of Luis Arraez to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Guardians on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning never gets dull," said Arraez.
