Rangers Bridle White Sox, 4-2
|
Dylan Cease pitched well, but the Chicago White Sox still lost the game, falling 4-2 to the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. Picking up the win was Christian Little. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 1. Michael Prosecky locked down his 1st save.
The Rangers got an important contribution from center fielder Jeremy Bergin, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a first pitch slider into right-center for a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 2-0.
"Winning is always a team effort," Bergin said after the game.
The loss puts Chicago at 2-4.
