September's Premier Pitcher Announced by MWL Tuesday, October 1st , 2030 Zach Rowland was the #1 pitcher in September according to the voters. He completely shut down opposing teams to win the Midwest League Pitcher of the Month Award. Cedar Rapids's star reliever held the opposition to a .167 average and put up 4 saves and 16 strikeouts in 8.2 innings with a 2-0 mark and a 3.12 ERA. Rowland's record this year is 3-and-3 with 15 saves and a 4.43 ERA. He has given up 34 hits in 44.2 innings with 59 strikeouts. |
